STRESS AND GURUKRUPA: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS AND GURUKRUPA: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

The efforts, which we call Total Stress Management; to blossom together in every possible way; are ongoing from time immemorial, and the core of these efforts viz. NAMASMARAN is also going on from time immemorial.

We get the insights in these phenomena; through our GURU, who is personified absolute cosmic consciousness. These insights are so deep and distinct; that they don’t need external corroboration, endorsement or proof. These insights signify the presence of and not the concrete experience of GURUKRUPA, which is an ocean of ambrosia and eternal light.

When we are charged with these insights and are propelled for “blossoming of one and all”; we often experience a deep sense of restlessness, unquenched by and un-calmed by any material success on the one hand; and lack of the solace of GURUKRUPA; on the other.

Hence; we come across moments of despair, loneliness, frustration, dejection and emptiness. This happens because of our transitional state; when we are evolved out of the bondages of physical pursuits, but have not still experienced; the most reassuring effulgent ocean; of immortal, universal and divine love; the GURUKRUPA!

In this state; we tend to develop utter self pity and self disgust. As a result we find everything harrowing and harassing; and begin to despise the idea of unconditioned acceptance, love and respect! In fact it appears like a ridiculous and humiliating mockery of our state of agony.

If we are still intact intellectually, then we may still try to console ourselves that we all have God in our core!

But such ideation cannot console us; and in fact becomes an unbearable burden. We find all the philosophy and preaching; hollow and in fact counterproductive; in terms of losing tangible success on the one hand; and losing the perceptibly lively and vibrant joy of being amongst the near and dear ones; on the other!

We become bitter; especially about our father, mother, husband, wife, brothers, sisters, children and other family members, relatives, colleagues, friends and so on. They appear callous and uninterested in us. This adds to our weakness, shakiness, indecision, suspicion, doubts, uncertainty and distrust in our GURU on the on hand; and doubts and diffidence in our selves; on the other.

But; if we persist on NAMASMARAN, then we certainly get the extraordinarily distinct revelation of the omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent GURUGRUPA! One aspect of this is; the clear experience being nurtured by the love coming from the core of everyone around, which itself is beyond every possible tangible success; and probably the ultimate fulfillment in life!
