Patients listens/feels pain even in coma or unconscious state
ATIENT LISTENS EVEN HE IS UNCONSCIOUS OR COMA;-----------------

UNconsciouness is very much common now a days after head injury many patients goes in unconscious state or called medically as "coma" ,many diseases like advanced Diabetes,Brain Haemorrhages or stroke, renal ,cardiac and respiratory diseseas and in brain infections and tumors or in in last stage of life either due to advanced diseases or otherwise old age person becmoes unconscious.
Some time such COMA PERIOD MAY LAST FOR MONTHS OR YEARS and mostly we think in unconscious period doesnot listen us as he never obeys our command or respond to our query but this is not the case,he maynot respond but he listens and feels pain ,it has been prooved by medical study too as told in our ancient religious book Upnashidas.
So we should be careful before speaking either to person in cma or its surrounding or should not produce much sound as it may disturb and ma...

BETTER DRUG ELUTING STENTS FOR ANGIOGRAPHY
BETTER STENT FOR ANGIOPLASTY;----
When due to acute myocardial infarction or ischaemia or after a heart attack in common language when we investigate by CT guided Scan or by Angiography seeing patency of arteries of heart or cornary arteries and if we find significant Blocks then our Intervention cardiologist suggest us to by pass such blocks by using Stents or pipe loaded with medicines to pass from our thigh or wrist to heart under X-rays called Cardiac Arteries Scanning or Angiography machines in CATH LAB without going for Cardiac surgeries either open heart or by Endoscopy to by pass these blocks.
now a days better anticoagulant loaded Medical stents are available. As shown below these stents keep these arteires patent for more days as they always liberate some medicines sothat these bloks by thombosis or deposition of bad fats doesnot happen.
Newer–generation drug–eluting stents, particularly the everolimus–eluting stent, significantly reduce the risk of target vessel revascularization (TVR) in patients with ST–segment–elevation MI (STEMI) without increasing the risk of adverse safety outcomes, including rates of stent thrombosis, when compared with bare–metal stents. Published online August 6, 2013 in Circulation: Cardiovascular Interventions, the analysis showed that compared with the sirolimus–eluting stent (Cypher, Cordis), the paclitaxel-eluting stent (Taxus, Boston Scientific), and bare–metal stents, the use of an everolimus-eluting stent reduced the relative risk of stent thrombosis 62%, 61%, and 58%, respectively. — with Shreya Nakipuria and 2 others.

Learn about your Gout
Gout attacks, also called gouty arthritis attacks, are unpredictable, and that makes coping with them difficult. People are quite shocked when one day, joint pain hits for the first time—and lots of it. But even those who experience more attacks will be surprised each time, because there’s no sure way to know when the next one will hit.
Often (but certainly not always) people have a good idea of what triggers their attacks. A trigger causes a sudden increase in the blood levels of uric acid or causes the deposits of crystals inside the joints to shift, which sets off a storm of intense, painful inflammation.

Gout Attack Triggers

Here are some of the most common gout attack triggers:
Eating certain foods (like shellfish, organ meat and red meat) results in more purine for the body to break down into uric acid. This surge in uric acid levels can trigger a gout attack.
Drinking too much alcohol, especially beer, in a short amount of time increases the body’s production of uric acid.
Consuming too much high-fructose foods and drinks, like sugary soft drinks, juices and anything with high-fructose corn syrup as an ingredient, are common triggers.
Dehydration (sometimes caused by fasting) lowers the total volume of blood, which increases the concentration of uric acid.
“Fasting and feasting,” including extreme low-calorie or unbalanced diets and large portions of certain foods or sugary sodas are known to be triggers.
Certain medications, like diuretics (“water pills”), used to treat high blood pressure, leg swelling (edema) or heart failure, increase urine output and decrease the kidneys’ ability to filter uric acid, which raises the blood uric acid levels.

What to Do: Tips and Treatments

Know how to treat an attack! The key to treating an attack is reducing inflammation quickly, which will relieve pain and end the attack sooner.
Take anti-inflammatory medication soon after the pain starts.

Anti-inflammatory medication can shorten the duration of the attack, especially if it’s taken as soon as possible within the first 24 hours.
If you’ve been diagnosed with gout, your doctor may have given you an anti-inflammatory medication (with dosing instructions) to keep on hand, just in case. Some anti-inflammatories are available without a prescription and others are prescribed, including:
Anti-inflammatories, such as an NSAID (pronounced en-said, short for nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug)
A corticosteroid that can be taken by mouth or injected,
Colchicine, a drug that’s been used, in some form, for about 2,000 years to relieve the inflammation of attacks.
If you are in pain and may be having your first attack, call your doctor right away to ask about anti-inflammatory medication.
Use ice.

Applying ice and elevating the joint can help ease the inflammation in addition to your medication. If the pain is still extreme, your doctor may prescribe or recommend pain medication to help.
Ask for help.

Let the friends and family members on your team know you’re having an attack. They can run your errands, pick up prescriptions and even fill your ice packs while you’re sidelined.

TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 10: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 10: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Doctor: Some of the reasons for not noticing stress are as follows.
1. Stress usually being a slow process, acts like a slow poisoning and hence goes on unnoticed until it acquires serious dimensions.
2. Many of us suffer from stress and attribute the effects of stress to more apparent things such as infection (which itself can result due to stress!). You can understand this if you appreciate the fact that we “see” the dust particles moving in a dust storm but we do not “see” the force of wind, which actually is the cause of the movement of the particles! The STRESS is like this unseen, enemy! Therefore it gets ignored.
3. The word STRESS, is used by any body and every body, without understanding, its meaning. This is similar to the usage of words such as democracy, socialism, secularism etc. This gives us a wrong impression that we know everything about it. As a result most of us develop a false notion that we can manage it without anybody’s help. This is in fact one of the greatest illusions, or one of the greatest myths of all times.
4. Most of us are habituated to put up a brave face even when we are suffering! Many times, this is because of shyness, feeling of shame and so on.
5. We try to hide our sufferings i.e. stress because of the fear that we may be insulted, humiliated, ridiculed, pitied, sympathized or even exploited.
6. Other reasons are more obvious; such as illiteracy, poverty, lack of time, lack of information, lack of dialogue, lack of communication, lack of curiosity, apathy and so on (which are actually due to stress)
Patient: Why don't we learn all this in schools and colleges? I would like to know more!
Doctor: Sure! We will go to the root of stress and its management!

TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 09: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 09: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Patient: Sir! I have reasonably understood the nature of stress! I have also somewhat understood the role of Total Stress Management! Actually how many of us suffer from STRESS?
Doctor: Every one of us suffers from stress.
Patient: All of us?
Doctor: Yes! Life in every living being; is an extension of cosmic consciousness or cosmic life! This consciousness is intricately associated or rather trapped in the properties of physical matter! Physical matter (neurotransmitters, hormones, enzymes and other molecules and the interactions amongst them) has the property of entropy (atrophy, degeneration, degradation, disruption, deterioration and destruction).
Patient: Sir! You mean to say; this entropy is the cause of STRESS?
Doctor: Not merely the entropy as such! The life in us has tendency to merge with the cosmic consciousness on the one hand and tendency to get trapped in the property of the matter on the other! Thus we are actually caught between the upward (URDHVAGAMI) force that tends to unify us with our true self; and the downward (ADHOGAMI) force that LOCKS us in the influence of matter ( petty and subjective perspective, thinking, feeling and instincts).
Patient: Sir! Does this tussle between the upward and downward forces constitutes stress?
Doctor: Yes! Precisely! However some people do not believe that our individual life is an extension of the unifying cosmic consciousness! They believe that life has emerged from non-life!
Patient: Why don't they believe?
Doctor: They don't seem to see or experience; the glimpses of the source of everything and every being i.e. true SELF i.e. the immortal cosmic consciousness!
Patient: Sir, this is fine! But I am still not understanding the role of NAMASMARAN! Please explain further
Doctor: NAMASMARAN is a process of remembering NAMA i.e. the immortal cosmic consciousness i.e. God, Brahma or true SELF! This remembrance enhances the upward force and nullifies the downward force (born out of influence of matter) slowly but steadily!
Patient: It means; the animals would have stress, but won't be able to practice NAMASMARAN and enhance upward (URDHVAGAMI) forces and hence won't be able to manage stress! Is it true?
Doctor: You are absolutely right! But it is documented that; in the company of those, who have transcended the matter; even the animals get benefited!
Patient: How does this aid in Total Stress Management?
Doctor: As the upward (URDHVAGAMI) force supersedes the pettiness born out of the influence of matter, our perspective, thinking, feelings and instincts blossom! Our policies, plans, programs and their implementation; become more and more unprejudiced, objective, accurate and globally benevolent! Such blossoming in individual and universe; is DHARMA!
Patient: Sir! This is wonderful! Now i am beginning to understand; how NAMASMARAN is crucial to Total Stress Management!
Doctor: I will explain it further as we begin to study the stress and its management in greater details and depth!

TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 08: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 08: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Patient: Can a child practice NAMASMARAN?
Doctor: Life is like a river. Stress is like a disturbed river or a whirlpool! NAMASMARAN is a process of reestablishing the river to its calm flow! Hence; it is better to start as early in life as possible.
Patient: But won't they get bored?
Doctor: They would! Therefore NAMASMARAN has to be started in small "dose"!
Patient: Would this act as preventive measure!?
Doctor: Yes! NAMASMARAN is like alum! It enhances the settling of muddy particles to bottom!
Patient: I see!
Doctor: NAMASMARAN is like systematizing the electrical wiring so that bulbs of our life; emanate light according to our potentials; in literary as well as actual sense(voltage)! It is like a proper functioning of signals! It makes the traffic smooth!
Patient: Can we compare stress with TRAFFIC JAM?
Doctor: This is not an exact analogy but helps in understanding STRESS, clearly, which in itself; significantly "rectifies the signals" and reduces STRESS!
Comparison of STRESS with TRAFFIC JAM!
1. The STRESSORS are like excess number of VEHICLES coming from all directions.
2. The individual under stress is like a square where the signals or the traffic police are not working.
3. The signs and symptoms of stress are like the excess crowding, anxiety due to inability to reach destinations, quarrels amongst the drivers, excessive blowing of horns, chemical pollution etc.
4. The pathology is inability of the vehicles to move and reach their destinations.
5. The Relaxation Techniques prevalent today are like arbitrary and isolated efforts to calm down the drivers and prohibit the blowing of horns.
6. The relaxation techniques therefore can bring about temporary peace (temporary symptomatic relief) but cannot help the vehicles to reach their destinations (cannot effectively remove the pathological changes and handle the stressors effectively).
7. NAMASMARAN (and consequent Total Stress Management); is like re-establishing the functioning of the signals and re-instituting the traffic police (perception) so that the crowding, jam (homeostatic disturbances or affect), blowing of horns, quarrels (symptoms and signs ) and the reaching of the destinations ( handling the stressors and rectify the pathological changes ), all are made possible.

TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 07: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 07: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Patient: Can the causes of stress be completely eradicated?
Doctor: Beginning NAMASMARAN (Total Stress Management) is like coming on right track to progress appropriately! But stress CAN BE MANAGED; NOT eradicated!
Patient: Are the STRESSORS always dangerous?
Doctor: No. The environment neither remains unchanged nor does it change within a given restricted range. So the living beings are equipped to overcome (and even get benefited from) STRESSORS!
This is why; physical exercise, emotional excitement, intellectual work etc. are often beneficial when moderate. Sometimes this beneficial stress is referred to as “eustress”. EU is used as a prefix, meaning good or well.
Patient: When do the STRESSORS become dangerous?
Doctor: When the stressors increase in number, frequency, duration, intensity or complexity, the internal environment undergoes greater change (distress) with greater variations and with greater speed! This results in adverse effects on body cells, with or without clinical signs and symptoms!
Patient: Can we call the ill effects of STRESS; PRRABDHA?
Doctor: When we seem to understand (although superficially) the causes; we term it pathophysiology of stress! When we fail to understand the root causes; we term it PRARABDHA!
Patient: What does NAMASMARAN do?
Doctor: NAMASMARAN empowers us to see, feel and act appropriately! It wakes us up to NEW AWAKENING!
Patient: I think I will begin the practice of NAMASMARAN; till I learn further about the process of blossoming with NAMASMARAN!
Doctor: Yes! We have to learn a lot! Stress is like a tornado! But Gurukrupa enriches us with NAMASMARAN and empowers us to ride over it!

TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 06: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 06: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Patient: You were to explain with examples; how NAMASMARAN is crucial to Total Stress Management!
Doctor: Yes! We have to appreciate the vast nature and causes of stress so that we can understand the crucial role of NAMASMARAN in Total Stress Management!
Patient: Yes doctor! Please explain!
Doctor: Stress is like a horse! But it would never leave us at any cost! So there is no lasting escape from it. There are only few options.
A] Getting dragged after it,
B] Getting bitten or beaten by it,
C] Carrying it on our head,
D] Beating or killing the horse (Barbaric, cowardly, disgusting and obnoxious. Isn’t it? Since stress is inseparable from life, killing horse is equivalent to suicide!)
E] Learning to “ride” the horse with delight, which is what Total Stress Management (TSM), is and the core of it is NAMASMARAN!
Patient: Any other example?
Doctor: Stress is also like river! But; we have no choice as we are already born in it! There are only two options. Either to get drowned, or to learn to swim to the bank.
TSM enables us to reach the bank of the river safely.
Patient: How would you define stress scientifically?
Doctor: Stress means a variable degree; of acute or chronic changes; in the internal environment of the body. The normal stress such as moderate exercise is useful. But when we talk of “stress” we actually mean HARMFUL STRESS OR DISTRESS, which causes adverse effects on almost every cell of the body; making life miserable in several ways.
Patient: What is this INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT of the body?
Doctor: The body cells contain fluid within them and they themselves are present in a fluid medium. This fluid which they contain and the fluid by which they are surrounded, together form the INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT OF THE BODY.
Patient: What is the importance of this INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT?
Doctor: The importance of the internal environment is that, various physical and chemical characteristics of the internal environment have to be maintained within a certain range if the body cells and hence the organism, have to function in the normal i.e. healthy way. If the characteristics undergo drastic variations then STRESS develops. This stress causes damaging effects on our life. This should explain to you the importance of the internal environment as well as the importance of any factor/s, which may bring about changes in it.
Patient: What are the characteristics of this INTERNAL ENVIRONMENT?
Doctor: The internal environment i.e. the fluid inside the cells and surrounding the cells, has certain concentration of hydrogen, sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride, magnesium etc. It has certain osmolality, temperature, viscosity etc. We are all aware of one such physical characteristic viz. blood pressure. The text books of physiology, describe in details, but it is not necessary to list them here and burden our memory.
Patient: What are the causes of stress?
Doctor: The causes of stress are called STRESSORS. The stressors are nothing else but exaggerated stimuli, which cause change in our internal environment beyond the normal range resulting in stress. We will see with examples; how NAMASMARAN, which is the core of Total Stress Management; is crucial in overcoming these!

TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 05: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Patient: Doctor! I have begun to understand the concept of Total Stress Management or Holistic Renaissance! But how did you arrive at the conclusion that NAMASMARAN is crucial to it?
Doctor: This conviction is the culmination of an “expedition” stretching over thirty years (and possibly extending far beyond!).
Patient: What kind of expedition?
Doctor: This is an expedition full of intellectual, emotional, instinctual, physical, economic, social and a variety of other adventures!
Patient: What was the purpose?
Doctor: Purpose was to search “that something”, which can simultaneously and progressively fulfill the humane intellect, emotions, passions and physical needs of an individual as well as the society.
Patient: You must have gone through a variety of experiences and revelations!
Doctor: Yes! It is through intense reading, frank discussions, honest arguments and thereby; understanding and verification; of the physiology, psychology, sociology, economics, politics, religion and other aspects of stress; that I realized that "that something" is NAMASMARAN!
Patient: Sounds interesting. But how does NAMASMARAN work?
Doctor: NAMASMARAN is a process of blossoming into unifying enlightenment from the normal but petty (hence stressful) physiological dualities, which are further intensified and multiplied by scientific and technological advancement.
Patient: We have to to see how it works in different causes of stress; with examples.
Doctor: If you are genuinely interested, then we will definitely do that; and see; how NAMASMARAN is crucial to unprejudiced and accurate understanding of the precise meaning, erroneous misconceptions, myriads of causes, exact mechanisms and ubiquitous effects of stress; and TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT i.e. TOTAL WELL BEING!

TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 04: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Doctor: Total Stress Management is simultaneous process of individual and global blossoming. The perspective of universal unity and harmony, emerges from the evolution of petty positive and petty negative instincts and emotions and thoughts.
Patient: What does it imply?
Doctor: We begin to grow from pettiness and its vicious effects on our life.
Patient: You mean to say the ill effects of stress?
Doctor: Yes! In short, the ill effects of stress result from petty perspective, thoughts, feelings and passions and resultant behavior!
Patient: But NAMASMARAN is apparently a process of individual emancipation.
Doctor: NAMASMARAN frees us from pettiness and in turn reveals solutions to the problems in individual and universal life! Hence universalization of NAMASMARAN leads to multiplication of correct solutions, which in turn evolve a social environment conducive to our own focus on NAMASMARAN and self realization!
Patient: This appears reasonable; but very difficult!
Doctor: True! It does appear difficult! But actual practice and propagation of NAMASMARAN; reap the success of NAMASMARAN in not merely personal; but universal benevolence!
