SHRI GONDAVLEKAR MAHARAJ: THE INFINITE SOURCE OF EMANCIPATING SPIRIT: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
SHRI GONDAVLEKAR MAHARAJ: THE INFINITE SOURCE OF EMANCIPATING SPIRIT: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

In the India, there is Maharashtra State. This state is famous for many meritorious characteristics. The most outstanding of which, is the galaxy of individuals who had realized (not merely understood or known) the truth and imparted it to the mankind.

It is to be appreciated that the truth realized individuals are not the same as; those who merely preach some philosophy and/or perform so called miracles.

Truth realized individuals are not mere philanthropist also!

Truth realized individuals are not mere erudite orators.

I call Truth realized and not self realized because self in English does not convey the content of the word “atman” in Sanskrit.
The most important quality of an individual who has realized truth is to impart truth realization and uplifting the individual from his subjective realm into objective global consciousness.

Thus In Maharashtra, there have been truth realized individuals such as Dnyaneshvar, Ramadas, Tukaram, Eknath, Muktai and in 19th and 20th century Akkalkot Swami, Saibaba, Gajanan Maharaj and many others.

One of these truth realized individuals was Shri Brahmachaitanya Gondavlekar Maharaj.

Gondavlekar Maharaj; had come in contact with Saibaba, Akkalkot Swami, Vasudev Balavant Phadke, Lokamanya Tilak and also Nanasaheb Peshave (Biography of Gondavlekar Maharaj, by K.V. Belsare).

Gondavlekar Maharaj (1845-1913) extensively toured India three times while he lived in Gondavle.

His life exemplifies how a truth realized individual’s consciousness is one with the cosmic consciousness and becomes benevolent to universe.

His consciousness is experienced by many individuals in his samadhi mandir located in Gondavle, which is in Taluka Man, in Satara district in Maharashtra.

The samadhi mandir of Gondavlekar Maharaj is full of daily activities conducive to individual and global blossoming. These are called NITYOPASANA.

Any one who is interested in truth realization can visit Gondavle. He or she can participate in the most satisfying activities in a suitable manner; and undergo conscious evolutionary transformation and get set for the ultimate fulfillment in life in time to come!

The food and stay for three days are kept free of cost as an expression of supremely benevolent super-transaction; which is beyond mercenary, commercial and even professional considerations!

MY STRESS MY AGONIES : DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
MY STRESS MY AGONIES : DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

My stress and my agonies; are inseparable from my own ongoing corruption, perennial corruption, irresistible corruption, insuperable corruption, insurmountable corruption!
This is akin to entropy and represents all those processes, which make me brutal, barbaric, petty, sectarian, individualistic, exploitative, oppressive, irritable or violent; or lethargic, depressed and suicidal.
It embodies; my perspective, my thinking, my feelings, my instincts and in fact; whole of my existence which are mean and opposed to the process of my own and the universal blossoming i.e. superliving.
My stress and my agonies are spread all over and vitiate the universe; through the international and national laws, conventions, traditions, rules, pacts; literature, art, media, movies, dramas: and advertisements, campaigns, activism, mass movements; and my personal and social behavior.
What should I do to overcome my stress and agonies?
The most effective and holistic solution provided by guru; is; to practice NAMASMARAN and blast all the processes of corruption; and while doing so; share this process of blossoming with others.

SCOPE OF NAMASMARAN: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
SCOPE OF NAMASMARAN: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
In the literature of saints and prophets there is plenty of admiration of NAMASMARAN as a way to liberation and/or emancipation.

But whether we totally disbelieve or believe in the saints and the prophets; we need not desist ourselves; from asking the question: If NAMASMARAN is a panacea; why are billions are people; many of whom are followers of NAMASMARAN; suffering miserably?

Many of us are tempted explain this on the basis of past deeds, which indirectly suggests that NAMSMARAN cannot purify our past deeds. It is a kind of admission of the limitations of NAMASMARAN.

In my view; NAMASMARAN is a panacea today; (if not in the past) due to the enlightening and empowering bounty of the penance of thousands of saints in the past. Today; it can chastise us; as well as purify us from our past misdeeds. But for this; at least a large proportion of people; if not all; need to practice NAMASMARAN and be oriented to their true selves.

This is similar to the phenomenon of an orchestration, where most instrumentalists and the vocalists are required to be oriented to the musician for desired harmony, melody and rhythm!

Actually when we get oriented to our true selves; we begin to get freed from the shackles of the stranglehold of our passions, lust, desires, ideas, beliefs, notions, dogmas and so on, which are often pursued at the cost of others. We begin to be more objective and hence less prejudiced, less biased, less grudged, less individualistic, less sectarian, less fragmented, less petty and so on.

In view of this; it is clear that; while practicing NAMASMARAN we need not get detracted, disturbed, disheartened, depressed or destabilized; by such destabilizing questions in our minds.

NAMASMARAN is the way; the universal way; and the most feasible way; even if we are NOT transformed into an enlightened soul; overnight and even if we do not see (through our subjective frames of our minds) the expected or anticipated results; in our life and the life of mankind.

Whether we are good, bad or ugly; and believers or non-believers; we still have the golden opportunity to practice NAMASMARAN and be a happy participant of the process of superliving or holistic renaissance i.e. individual and universal blossoming.

BEING HONEST: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
BEING HONEST: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

In Hindi there is one proverb; “Hamamme sab nange hote hai”. This means in public bathrooms; every one is naked.

We wear clothes, cover our bodies and try to ignore our basic, in born, physical attributes. We try to be oblivious to our primitive (natural) constitution. Moreover; through good clothes; we try to ignore poverty and feel rich!

We try to also cover our basal nature by assumptions. We try to assume that we are dispassionate, selfless, noble hearted, honest, and kindhearted; in fact; full of all majestic and heroic virtues.

The more we are adamant on covering ourselves; the more we become intolerant to ourselves and others and breed indiscriminate violence. Openness of every kind is opposed and coercively crushed in such situations.

But by merely enclosing and covering our bodies; in clothes (often glamorous and fashionable) and our basic instincts and emotional make up; in certain assumptions; we can not get rid of them; in actuality.

If we realize this; then we would become more tolerant and naturally; more loving. This is the merit of open society. But the indulgence and its mercenary glorification and consequent deterioration are the demerit.

If we are realistic, then we identify our physical, instinctual, emotional and intellectual attributes. Then we can work to evolve ourselves and others in appropriate manner.

Can we accept that we are slaves of our instincts, emotions and intellect? Can we accept that we also; are potentially primitive, barbaric, criminals, corrupt and mean? Can we accept that we also are ethnocentric? Can we accept that all that we hate and loathe; is potentially within us; and would spill over if the circumstances are conducive?

Can we accept that being “better” is not as simple and as instant; as merely changing clothes or washing make up? Can we admit that whenever we seem to have “improved”, we come across a situation that bares open our meanness?

Can we accept that we are unable to voluntarily blossom and become buoyant and generous? Can we admit that we are unable to love all; merely by volition?

Can we realize that no one can transform us (merely by appropriate punishment or through prayashchitta) into sublime, unprejudiced and innocent individuals; because “they themselves” are the helpless victims? (They can jail us, coax us to pay tax, pay donations, but can not inspire us to voluntarily stop exploiting! They can merely force us to behave in a gentle manner; but can not erase the sexual, infatuative, and other bizarre ideas, whims and fancies from our and their mind!)

Can we agree that for us to blossom, we have to create an environment of a holistic perspective of globally beneficial policies, plans, laws, rules, regulations, conventions and fashions, which in turn would be conducive to our blossoming?

Can we dare to bare ourselves from within and thereby be considerate to ourselves and others?

Tolerance born out of experience and honesty; would add accuracy and globally beneficial dimension to every thought, feeling and activity of ours!

Is this possible? This is certainly possible and ought to be achieved! But are we ready to be totally naked from within; and “see” ourselves? Are we ready to rise above our assumptions, beliefs and disbeliefs; and verify this? We have to verify if the practice of NAMASMARAN can help in this!

BEING HAPPY: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
BEING HAPPY: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Whenever we ask our friends “how are you?” they usually respond by saying “fine”! This is because our asking and their answering is casual and does not mean the words exchanged! In fact; usually we speak and communicate from a very superficial and casual stratum of mind; unaware of the purport of what we speak!

Often we say; that we are fine, when in fact we are not. This is because; we have helplessly accepted our unhappiness due to our ignorance about the causes, mechanisms and remedies of our unhappiness! We come to terms with life and keep declaring that we are happy; even amidst conflicts, problems and misery! In fact we console ourselves that everyone suffers; even the spiritual masters! In fact drawbacks are beautiful, defeat is success and misery is happiness!!

Let us realize while consoling ourselves; that “Being happy” is actually a product of our growth, development and blossoming! It is like getting accolades; after studying and passing each test! Just as the bare minimum prerequisite to passing a test is appearing for the test; similarly for getting the gift of happiness; the prerequisite is being in connection with SELF; before, during and after every ordeal; through NAMASMARAN.

“Being happy” is like blossoming of flowers and ripening of fruits that declares itself undeniably and unequivocally and showers benevolence on others in various forms; but especially global perspective, policies, plans and programs!

“Being happy” is being one with growth and blossoming of every thing and being; (rivers, mountains, gardens, animals, plants and people; in every part of the world); and every victorious conquest of disease, dismay, distress, degeneration, decay, decomposition and destruction in the world!

BATH AND TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
BATH AND TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

The concept of bath is more profound than is usually considered by us, to be. The bath in neither a meaningless ritual of blind religious belief; nor it is a physical procedure that merely involves cleaning the body and simply refreshing the mind. We have to appreciate that bath has direct influence on all the activities; of all the cells of the body; through its stimulating effects on the skin and subcutaneous tissues; on the central nervous system, autonomic nervous system, endocrine system, immune system and metabolic activities.

It is true that the details of the effects are not described in the text- books of physiology as they are not studied; or even thought over; adequately. In addition, there is a tendency amongst researchers to tread a path of traditional sets of experiments based on traditional schools of thought and not even consider; what appeals to reasoning! This is somewhat similar to gradual loss of clinical acumen and increase in the reliance on the gadgets and the investigations. This has prevented us from studying, investigating, understanding, appreciating and teaching the benefits of bath described in the following shloka.

GUNA DASHAH SNANAPARASYA SADHO
ROOPAM CHA TEJAM CHA BALAM CHA SHAUCHAM
AYUSHYAM AROGYAM ALOLUPATVAM
DUHSWAPNA GHATAHSH CHA TAPAM CHA MEDHA

The meaning is
Oh gentleman! The bath is beneficial in ten different ways.

It improves physical (morphological and physiological) state of existence. It is to be appreciated that ROOPAM does not mean mere appearance. It includes all the morphology interacting with physiology. This is why ROOPAM and NAMA are some times compared and contrasted. ROOPAM is everything that is identified by all the terminology [NAMA] in the morphology and physiology.

It improves the TEJAM i.e. all the activities that generate energy. In modern parlance this refers to formation of ATP [Adenosine Triphosphate] and CP [Creatine Phosphate], besides the calories which are used to maintain the temperature of the body.

It improves BALAM. BALAM refers to the actual power, endurance and working capacity of an individual [through efficient formation and utilization of ATP and CP].

It imparts SHAUCHAM i.e. purity. SHAUCHAM is not merely physical cleanliness of the skin. Bath stimulates the circulation and helps wash away all the waste products; likely to be accumulated; in and around the cells present in every nook and corner of the body.

It gives AYUSHYAM i.e. life. AYUSHYAM is defined as PRAANALAKSHANA VAAYUNAA YOGAH, which means availability to; and utilization of oxygenation by; all the parts of the body. This is achieved through stimulation of central and autonomic nervous systems and in turn; stimulation of the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, which are vital in reaching the oxygen to the body cells. But that is not all. It also stimulates the endocrine, immune and metabolic activities. This implies improvement in vitality.

It improves AROGYAM, which is defined as DHAATUSAAMYAM, which means right proportion of everything in body so as to give power, pleasure, profundity, performance, peace and so on; for prolonged time!

It gives ALOLUPATVAM, which means capacity to rise above gravitating, enslaving, degenerating, distorting, depressing, disorganizing, frustrating, and devastating forces in life. This is important in every sphere of life. In fact ALOLUPATVAM refers to the state of mind; which is invincible.

DUSVAPNAGHAATASH means one, which destroys bad dreams or nightmares. Bath can achieve this through achieving a state of alertness by overcoming the unsteady, imbalanced state of mind, which causes day dreams, bad dreams and nightmares.

TAPAH is of three types [Geeta 17.14, 17.15, 17.16] involving roughly speaking body, intellect and emotions. The TAPAH is also further classified [Geeta 17.17, 17.18, 17.19] into divine, mundane, and devilish. TAPAH means coordinated and controlled activity at an individual level, in the best interest of the universe. This activity viz. TAPAH is made possible, easier and enhanced; by bath. Bath taken thrice a day [TRIKAL SNAANA]; in itself, is a difficult accomplishment and involves all three types of TAPAH!

MEDHAA means enlightened intelligence. The bath involves not only physical cleanliness but it shifts the level of consciousness. This is particularly important because with such shift in consciousness, the perceptions, desires, aims and actions become increasingly in accordance with the cosmic consciousness and hence increasingly more accurate.
Prayer of Ganga
NAMAAMI GANGE TAVA PAADPANKAJAM
SURAASURAIRVANDITADIVYARUPAM
BHUKTIN CHA MUKTIN CHA DADAASI NITYAM
BHAAAVAANUSAARENA SADAA NARAANAAM

This prayer when recited before actual SNAANA (bath) helps in more than one way. It links us with the river Ganga; who has been worshipped by our ancestors and people from most parts of India; and thereby; with our land, our culture, our countrymen and our forefathers. This very prayer has thus tremendous potential to help us get rid of isolated, alienated, lonely existence.

NAMASMARAN makes the bath; conducive to Total Stress Management (holistic health). We can verify the beneficial effects of bath on Basal Metabolic Rate, physical and mental performance, weight control, joint pains, cervical spondylosis, stiffness of back and body; and recovery from diabetes and many other ailments.

GOD STRESS DHARMA AND ADHARMA: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
GOD STRESS DHARMA AND ADHARMA: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

The misunderstanding and misinterpretation of the aphorism or MAHAVAKYA “I am Brahma” and concept of “God” are responsible for the indolence, indifference, false self contentment, self righteousness, parasitic helplessness, inaction or fanatic actions and STRESS.

It is high time; we realize for our own blossoming, that God is an experience of self realization and not a matter of paranoid beliefs and delusions, with respect to His role in day to day individual gains and losses; as clearly stated in the 5th chapter of Gita. God is a phenomenon to be explored and experienced; that is all. It is like the freshness one experiences after bath. We do not believe or preach the others to believe in the experience of freshness!

GOD is indescribable; because; the word existence itself; is actually very deep and infinite!

Existence of a stone, existence of electricity, existence of laser rays, existence of space, existence of time, existence of a bird, existence of a boy, existence of mind, existence of feeling, existence of thoughts all are described by a single word “existence”!

As a result of ignoring the meanings of the word “existence”, the followers of so called atheism and theism amongst us; go on arguing endlessly and the truth i.e. the sense of satisfaction, unity, fearlessness, joy keep on eluding us.

Let us understand that The God does not exist and does not “NON” exist! The God experience is beyond the routine, crude and restrictive meaning of the word “exist”!

GOD is indescribable by qualitative or quantitative languages due to innumerable attributes; and hence just termed GOD. One of the attributes of GOD is that; it forms the innate bond between us and others. But, since this bond is concealed within our subjectivity, ego, or individualism, we are ignorant of GOD.

This ignorance, which is actually the lack of realization or experience; secedes all of us from the universe and one another, causing STRESS and rendering us isolated, lonely, weak or violent within our core.

Reorienting to this GOD through NAMASMARAN (which is the rationale and core of Total Stress Management) is the most fulfilling culmination of human life. Total Stress Management in turn, constitutes all the activities (perspective, policies, programs, plans and administration); to facilitate such culmination, by blossoming of one and all!

In other words; Total Stress Management involves; blossoming of individual and universal consciousness and behavior so as to create living conditions to accelerate this process of reorienting to GOD.

Total stress Management is DHARMA.

Opposition to this process of unified blossoming; in thoughts, feelings and actions is ADHARMA.

NAMASMARAN consolidates our position in GOD and is DHARMA.

The perception of harmony and unity of universe is one of the indications of realization of GOD.

The behavior in all walks of life (such as politics, economics, agriculture and nutrition etc.) to enhance this perception is DHARMA.

Actions against this are ADHARMA.

NAMASMARAN reorients us to GOD and is DHARMA.

The unconditioned acceptance, love and respect for the innate; blossoming consciousness in universe in general and in every heart in particular; are symptoms of realization of GOD.

The steps taken to nurture this are DHARMA. The endeavor to jeopardize this; is ADHARMA.

NAMASMARAN reestablishes us in GOD and is DHARMA.

The deep respect and commitment for motherhood, brotherhood, friendship and such sublime selfless relations is one of the features of realization GOD.

The conduct in tune with and to promote this respect and commitment is DHARMA.

The tendencies to go against this constitute ADHARMA.

NAMASMARAN rejuvenates us in GOD and is DHARMA.

The process of blossoming of objective consciousness and love; conquering petty considerations and vested interests; indicates realization of GOD.

The way of life to nurture this feeling in all walks of life; is DHARMA.

The impulses, urges and cravings and their pursuits in opposite direction constitute ADHARMA.

NAMASMARAN empowers us to realize GOD and is DHARMA.

The process of growing from subjectivity, pettiness, inertia, fear, insecurity, loneliness, hatred, jealousy, contempt, arrogance, vindictiveness, melancholy, frustration, defeatism, cynicism, escapism; to objectivity and unifying the core of all beings is the process of orienting to GOD.

The actual involvement in this process and its strengthening in all walks of life is DHARMA.

Conspiracy to oppose this process is ADHARMA.

NAMASMARAN reinforces our conviction in GOD and is DHARMA.

GOD and DHARMA are present ubiquitously. They keep blossoming with various proportions in different individuals and at different times and in different places, irrespective of whether a person calls himself or herself; a theist or an atheist and of one religion or another.

NAMASMARAN is a way (that we are more familiar with and accessible to every one at literally no cost); of realizing GOD and DHARMA within and outside. While enjoying this golden opportunity of NAMASMARAN to the best of our capacity, we can see and participate in Total Stress Management i.e. DHARMA; which is imminent, inevitable and irresistible.

NAMASMARAN empowers us; to be participate in Total Stress Management embodying holistic perspective, policy making, plans, programs and their implementation, in personal and social life (DHARMA); and conquer STRESSORS and STRESS (ADHARMA); and to meet or merge (YOGA) with our true self (GOD)!

NAMASMARAN also frees us from fanatic and regimentalized paradigms (ADHARMA) and we begin to appreciate that; the needs (normal and physiological i.e. conducive to self realization) of individuals and societies; vary at different stages; and in different circumstances of life; and also as per individual variations; thus; beliefs, struggles, protests, philanthropy, reservations, escapism etc. have a temporary place in an individual and a society, as per the degree of evolution.

Neither the believers nor the disbelievers are free from STRESS.

The conflict between belief and disbelief; petty self and universal self, inside (the needs, instincts, feelings and thoughts) and outside (personal and social behavior); and the resultant stress; continue to trouble till the believers and nonbelievers are trapped in petty self.

However, when the believers and nonbelievers evolve into selfless, independent and universal self, through “freedom” from petty self, the stress inside (needs, instincts, feelings and thoughts) and outside (personal and social behavior) begins to disappear!

To ascertain and experience this; we should give top priority to practice and propagation; of NAMASMARAN, amidst rest of the hustle and bustle of life.

STRESS AND AGING ROMANTIC: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS
AND
AGING ROMANTIC

DR.
SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Stress of aging is usually associated with dwindling of efficiency of all the body systems and organs including reproductive system and gonads; and debility, dependence, disease, despondence, despair, decreased income, and dejection; which are frightening. Most importantly this stress makes us indifferent and listless. The romance in our life gets dissipated.

The scenario of aging appears almost unavoidable and insurmountable; to many of us bordering the 40s, 50s and 60s; if we have not yet “enjoyed” or “accomplished” to our satisfaction. This feeling of “much to be enjoyed and achieved; while time is running out” makes us losers and unromantic.

The guides in print and electronic media on fitness, home remedies, diet, exercise, yogasanas, entertainment, hobbies and charitable activities are in plenty. The guidance in all these is valuable for us to improve health, avoid disease, preserve independence, develop fitness, enhance performance, stamina, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, physical form, looks etc. and also engage in philanthropy so as to age romantic. We take regular bath, eat green leafy vegetables and sprouted beans and other nutritionally rich foods, drink cow milk with halad [turmeric] and sunth [dried ginger], practice pranayama, exercises, yogasanas, joyously entertain themselves and others through our hobbies, and do lot of philanthropic work so as to age romantic.

But we have to introspect and find out why we fail to age romantic!

Is it because do not se the relevance; of the holistic perspective, policy making and its implementation; in romance?

Do majority of us tend to think in a sectarian and fragmented manner, (especially when they are not criminals, vicious or bad as such) and lose romance?

Is it because the holistic perspective; is not being studied, understood, assimilated, promoted and propagated adequately; thereby keeping our souls dry and devoid of the ambrosia of romance? If yes; why is this so?

Is this because the holistic perspective is not recognized as the urgent necessity for but our own hearts, souls and conscience; besides the basic needs of billions?

Do we not feel that holistic perspective, policies, programs, plans and their implementation; can quench our innate cores and are equally or even more important than many of our needs?

What is the reason for such unawareness about the dire need of understanding, practice and propagation of holistic perspective, policies, plans, programs and their implementation in revitalizing the sublime romance in us?

What is the reason for the dearth of motivation amongst us; who are apparently intelligent, kind hearted and well meaning; in rejuvenating ourselves with this cosmic romance of holistic perspective?

Is the reason of aging pathetically hidden in our ego, our passionate involvement in our subjective self identity, our strong and selective sentiments about our own bodily, emotional, intellectual and other considerations?

Does our ego prevent us from zealously acquiring and sharing the objective romance?

Do we choose to remain content or unhappy in our subjective “achievements” or “failures” respectively and tend to ignore the sap of the romance of being objectively benevolent?

Are we unable to see the benevolence of objective romance because of undue egoistic apprehension and judgmental attitude; about the “shortcomings or drawbacks” of our partners?

Are we unable to rise above our relationship/s and prejudices, centered on ego and reach out to the romantic core of the other persons?

Do we; more often than not; ridicule and oppose such efforts of sharing objective or holistic romance; actively or passively and overtly or covertly; and knowingly or unknowingly; and boost the ego centered sectarian and retrogressive forces? Do we infect the others also; with our cynicism?

Is it true that frequently our ego is associated with; not merely our material success in terms of popularity, power or prosperity; but even our egalitarianism, and righteousness, thereby rendering us obnoxiously unromantic and repulsive?

Are we unable to penetrate and rise above the “clouds of our ego” and enjoy the “romantic sky of universal unity”?

Is it because we are unable “see” and even strive for the magnanimity of the romance beyond our ego?

Is it because we do not try to realize; the role of holistic and objective wisdom born out of NAMASMARAN; in rejuvenating, revitalizing and reorienting us to our true self which is in continuity with the cosmic romance?

Can we not appreciate the super romance involved in realization of true self and its expression for individual and global blossoming; and thus age romantic?

Don’t we realize that the eternal romance called RUHANI ISHK keeps on blossoming like the unending ambrosia permanently engrained in our brain, and is beyond ego and body capacity?

Don’t we realize that NAMASMARAN and the Total Stress Management (the holistic perspective, policies, programs, planning and their implementation) are vital in aging sublimely and immortally romantic; even if sex hormones, genitals, muscles, which are preliminary and peripheral means or tools of reproduction and initiation of the romance, reduced?

ANGER MANAGEMENT: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
ANGER MANAGEMENT: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

Anger is a strange phenomenon! We like it as well as we hate it!

Thus; we feel; though we may not overtly say it; that anger is a sign of liveliness, heroism and even divinity. Thus; we find that anger against injustice, oppression, exploitation, fanaticism, barbarism, inequality, is directly or indirectly; not only justified; but actually adored!

But having said that; we read several examples where anger is condemned and loathed! Thus; the anger that leads to hatred, vengeance, revenge, indiscriminate violence, terrorism and other malicious crimes; is abhorred!

In short; anger is like electricity, which if properly channellized serves constructive purpose and if short circuited, leads to hazards.

If and when the anger within us erupts uncontrollably like a volcano; it manifests in indiscriminate violence in our speech, writing, physical behavior and other transactions. Thus in a spur of moment we may shout, abuse some one in public interview, write harsh letters or articles, physically assault some one, file a suit in a court of law, or actually go further and get involved in worse sociopathic activities.

Thus; if our anger is not managed properly, our otherwise selfless and divine anger against injustice, oppression, exploitation, crimes, corruption etc; may turn into indiscriminate violence against self or the other innocent people at home or in the society. I need not give examples; as they are too obvious.

If our anger related to personal matters, is not managed properly; then we may lose friends, may get distanced from our parents or children, or may get isolated as asocial individuals in the society. We may turn into antisocial or criminal elements in the society and may also; have to be convicted, jailed and punished in accordance with the gravity of the bout of our anger!

Is it not true that we often repent because of unleashing a violent bout of anger on our parents, children, friends or spouse? Mismanaged anger is a source of “avoidable pain, agony and misery” for self and others.

Having seen these hazards of mismanaged anger; it is obvious that anger management is extremely important and essential. We have to mange anger properly so that we or the others; don’t have to suffer and/or repent.

Let us realize that the anger; can not be eradicated. To a greater or lesser extent; it is going to be with us for ever. Hence we should not keep trying to be free from anger! Our anger has to be transformed into objective and benevolent force.

How can we achieve this?

Many steps are described in “SUPERLIVING”; (available on 175 international websites for free download) which lead to; culmination of; every metabolic, endocrine and nervous activity responsible for anger; into “most fulfilling; holistic perspective, thinking, feelings and behavior conducive to individual and universal blossoming!

One may not believe in this but verify oneself!

STRESS AND LAWS: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
STRESS AND LAWS: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

The stress is universal. It is ubiquitous. It is natural. It is inseparable from life. However; if it is not managed properly then it becomes detrimental to individual and global blossoming and even survival. Hence it has to be managed properly.

Stress has been managed in many ways for millennia. The ways of stress management have been changing as the life and the nature of stress have been changing. Since the nature of life is vast and complex the nature of stress is also vast and complex.

Hence the traditions, customs, conventions, commandments, decrees, laws, rules, regulations, administration, etiquettes and manners; on the one hand; and scientific inventions, discoveries, artistic creations and other modes of elevating, exhilarating, entertaining, consoling and soothing life; on the other; have limitations in terms of stress management (even though they have contributed tremendously in stress management; in the past)!

All these ways of stress management however; can be more accurate and effective; in individual and global blossoming (TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT or SUPERLIVING) if they spring from SADHANA (efforts to realize true self); and are coordinated and orchestrated in accordance.

The SADHANA of self realization i.e. merging with; or actually “being the true self” or “being the cosmic consciousness”; enables us to express the enlightenment in every walk of life. These are; the religious and spiritual traditions, customs, conventions, commandments, decrees, laws, rules, regulations, administration, etiquettes, manners, scientific inventions, discoveries, artistic creations and arts; in short; evolving the environment; and bring about blossoming of one and all!

Which is the best SADHANA today?

NAMASMARAN!

But how and why is this not happening even as millions are practicing NAMASMARAN?”

The answer is;

It is true that thousands of people are practicing NAMASMARAN and many of them probably are one with cosmic consciousness and are expressing their enlightenment in various walks of life.

But this is still NOT enough!

The practice of NAMASMARAN has to be really universal and continue to be so; so that the laws, rules, conventions etc governing the universal life (the evolving environment); spring from self realization and become conducive to self realization.

In absence of such universal NAMASMARAN SADHANA; there is imposition of many laws, which are coercive, restrictive, throttling, suffocating and create hindrance to individual and global blossoming on the one hand; and facilitate fiery outbursts against such laws in the form of crimes and violent movements.

Further there is delay and avoidance of laws conducive to individual and global blossoming!

The laws and rules; regarding education, health, agriculture, industries and so on; if born from self realization and conducive to self realization i.e. individual and global blossoming; i.e Total Stress Management; would be for example; as follows:

1. NAMASMARAN be a core of in all types of training and education all over the universe.

2. Holistic health be conceptualized and taught at all the levels; as physical, instinctual, emotional, intellectual states and actions conducive to individual and global blossoming.

3. Holistic medicine be conceptualized as “All that aids in the insight of diagnosis, prognosis and prevention of disease and promotion of holistic health; is medicine" and taught at all the levels.

4. Holistic education be conceived as; all the increasing enlightenment and empowerment of an individual; to contribute to “self and global blossoming”; and be introduced right from the beginning of education.

Further; it would incorporate the productive element e.g. plantation, agriculture, horticulture, vermiculture, sericulture; and/or service element e.g. stitching, wiring, winding, carpentry, plumbing!

5. Holistic education must include condemnation and discrediting of the disastrous and dangerous models of “individualistic and progress” that includes; e.g. unabated felling of trees, excessive production and marketing of personal transport vehicles and barbaric and brutal slaughtering of animals!

6. Laws would discourage production of vehicles of individual transport and promote the production and marketing of the vehicles of public transport.

7. Stepwise ban on the slaughters; while simultaneously promoting production, marketing, supply and availability of several vegetarian options.

8. The “national and global progress” be measured or assessed from parameters of individual and global blossoming and NOT per capita income, GDP, number of mobile phones, TVs, computers, flyovers, two wheelers, four wheelers, five star hotels and so on.

We should not merely believe, disbelieve, imagine, conjecture, or theorize casually; and avoid premature presumptions, prejudices, liking, acceptance, disliking, rejection or respect etc and overcome uncertainty, dilemma, indecision, wavering, and vacillations!

In stead; we should provisionally accept and actually study and practice the contents of TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT and verify for ourselves.
