VISION STRESS & DREAMS: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
VISION STRESS & DREAMS: DR. SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR

It is usual that we get enchanted by the vision or dreams of happier and better life. There are many, who predict a future of heaven on earth.

But as we grow older; we witness the apparent dominance of the indiscriminate, malevolent, malicious and vicious violence and crimes; and start doubting such vision and dreams; depicted in religious, philosophical and creative literature, poetry and movies and the power of divinity!

Is there any sense in the affirmation the victory of good over evil? Is there any rationale in glorification of “good” and condemnation of “bad”; as repeated in sermons; given in schools, colleges and elsewhere?

Are justice, peace, brotherhood and so on; mere emotional outbursts; of illusory or subjective nature; of some unrealistically sensitive individuals?

Some people may argue that; our stress is because; we can see only a small fraction, in our life time, of the vision or dreams, of a global mega process; spread over millennia; involving many generations; all over the world. Naturally; our vision of the global mega process; being a fraction and hence incomplete; appears to keep eluding us; producing stress!

According them; “the vision of unity or at least the harmony and amity; amongst spiritualism and materialism, theism and atheism; and such different ideologies, races, religions, regions, castes etc; become a reality, in which we also become “contributing catalysts”, if we grow from within; and be one with the “field”, in this global mega process is “contingent”!

Can NAMASMARAN (jap, jaap, jikra, sumiran, simaran i.e. remembering God’s name or one’s true self); help in such individual and global blossoming? Many visionaries say so!
