TOTAL STRESS MANAGEMENT AND NAMASMARAN (JAP, JAAP, JIKRA, SUMIRAN, SIMARAN; i.e. remembering God or true SELF) 14: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKARPatient: Last time you said; “I may not use the word "must"! Doctor: They do make it wonderful! But it becomes far more wonderful noble and benevolent; in the enlivening, rejuvenating, harmonizing and unifying influence of NAMASMARAN and Total Stress Management!
Patient: I understand! Life would remain petty and mean; and devoid of the unifying cosmic consciousness; in absence of NAMSMARAN and Total Stress Management.
Doctor: Now you get it!
Patient: Really; there is no sense in wasting time; in merely hoping for the already stressed and helpless leaders; to include the study, research, practice and training of NAMASMARAN and Total Stress Management in curriculums!
Doctor: It is interesting to note that stress has become even greater killer because of:
A) Inadequate research,
B) Inadequate understanding
C) Lack of awareness
D) Misconceptions and dogmas about the nature, gravity and management of stress; amongst the experts
E) Wide spread apathy
F) Lack of readiness to recognize, concede, accept and manage stress; due to shame and shyness,
G) Prevalence of quackery, which complicates the problem of stress and its management!
H) Non-availability of Total Stress Management experts
Patient: Sir! You have made the picture clear and opened a new way! But why do you say that stress cannot be cured or eradicated; and it can only be managed?
Doctor: This is because; stress is inseparable from our physiological, social, economic, cultural and political life! It is like MAYA! But it is wonderful and marvelous if we “manage” it and it is ghastly if we fail!
Patient: Isn’t the stress; if we manage, like a shadow, which follows us harmlessly; and like a ghost that persecutes us, if mismanaged?
Doctor: To some extent; yes! But we will discuss it in depth; next time!
