DELHI,MUMBAI,KOLKATA,CHENNAI AND ALL BIG CITIES AND TOWN ARE FULL OF FEVER PATIENTS,all hospital beds are occupies, patients are on floors and DURING THIS PERIOD WHEN DUE TO RAINING WATER GET DEPOSITED IN OUR LOCALITY IN OUR HOUSES IN OPEN PARKS AND OUR DRAINS ARE LOGGED WITH DIRTS AND HOUSE HOLD AND INDUSTRY WASTE,MOST OF THESE CASES ARE OF MALARIA,DENGUE OR DENGUE LIKE FEVER,CHIKANGUNIYA,OR TYPHOID .CONTAMINATED WATER EITHER BEING USED AS DRINK OR WITH FOOD OR GIVING RISE TO DEVELOPMENT OF DEN OF MOSQUITOES WHICH ARE MAINLY RESPONSIBLE FOR SUCH DISEASES AND EPIDEMICS . Our Government has launched "swachha Bharat Abhiyan" and a Extra charge on our Income tax and sale tax payments Government cut high CESS Charge and Government has collected hundred crores till now in this amount but instead of Any action on Ground Central Government issues costly advertisements in Newspapers on tv and Radio that Swachh Bharat abhiyan is in full action, beside doing a little good work of arranging Bathrooms and washrooms ,latrines, urinals in some schools and in some villages preventing open defecation it has not worked at any level for cleaning house holds, our mohallas,Villages, basti,RWAs,municipal or panchayat areas, most drains in villages and towns are logged and jammed with house hold and agriculture waste, small industries and workshops and manufacturing units all discharge their waste in such drains so nearby rivers also dirty as these drain mostly drain inside such rivers or Nallas. At most chowk or markets both in villages around hotels or grocessary shops or eating places hugh pile of household and domestic and market waste are seen in hugh numers speading dirts and foul smell like any thing dead animals further add more stings to these BUT NO EFFECTIVE MECHANISM SEEN BY GOVERNMENT OR PUBLIC TO GET RID OF SUCH DIRTY W,chikunguSTE.GOVERNMENT DOES NOT PAY ANY ATTENTION TO IT WHETHER IN PANCHAYAT,MUNICIPALITY OR CORPORATION. BY SIMPLE EFFORT OF CLEANING THEIR HOUSE AND MARKET PLACE,VERY SMALL COUNTRIES LIKE SRILANKA HAS BEN DECLARED MALARIA FREE BY WHO RECENTLY SAME WAY MALASIA IS ALSO FREE OF MALARIA AS USA,UK,AUSTRALIA,FRANCE ETC,WE ARE BIG MEMBER OF G 20TH NATION and 8-1Oth number World economy but due to corruption and our few carlessness we are not able to overcome it. All above diseases are preventable by simple way we can say no to dengue ,chikunguniya, typhoid, japanese encephalitis, malaria etc as stated by padamshree IMA president Prof Dr K.K.Agarwal as follows:____.Dengue, Chikungunya as well as Malaria and Filaria are mosquito-borne diseases and are totally preventable. By simple keeping our house, market sitting places, shops and offices we can check them paticularly taking care of our waste disposable, keeping our drians clean and regular fogging all around us in home or office ,letting no water to be deposited whether fresh or conataminated. Here are some salient points to remember about their prevention. • Malaria is transmitted via the bite of a female Anopheles spp mosquito, which occurs mainly between dusk and dawn. It may rarely spread as a congenitally-acquired disease or via blood transfusion, sharing of contaminated needles and organ transplantation. • The Dengue mosquito (Aedes aegypti) bites in the day time. • The Aedes Dengue mosquito has up to 3 meals in a day, while the malaria mosquito has 1 meal in three days. Malaria may infect only one person in the family; on the other hand, dengue mosquito will infect more than one member in the family in the same day. • Malaria fever often presents with chills and rigors. If fever presents with joint and muscle pains, suspect Chikungunya. • The Dengue mosquitoes may also breed inside houses in fresh collected water; hence, insecticide spraying, in response to dengue outbreaks, is not highly effective. Water should not be allowed to collect inside the house for more than a week. Mosquito cycle takes 7-12 days to complete and if any water collected utensils is scrubbed cleaned properly once in a week, there are no chances of mosquito breeding. • Collection of water in and around the house can occur in flower pots, uncovered water tanks on the terrace, bird drinking pots, broken tires, broken glasses, water coolers or any container where water can stay for 7 days. • Education of the public about discarding tires and other containers that accumulate standing water has shown promise in reducing breeding sites. • Using mosquito nets/repellents in the night may not prevent dengue the mosquito bites during day time. Wearing full sleeves shirt and trousers can prevent the mosquito from biting the body during the day. • Both malaria and dengue mosquito do not produce noise. Therefore, mosquitoes which produce noise do not cause diseases. • There are no vaccines for malaria and dengue. • Comprehensive community and governmental control strategy, including the seeding of water vessels with copepods that feed on mosquito larvae, is successful in eliminating A. aegypti and dengue transmission Show Less
