Alternative system of medicine practitioners in India have been making wild claims and misleading the public claiming cure to diseases such as heart disease, diabetes, and cancer. All Print Media,TV, Radio,Magazines,Social Media  are full of these Advertisements which are mostly fake and peoples are mislead by them anf persons purchase these products at vry costly price and loose their hard earned money .Some times these are endorsed by celebrities of Film Industry, Religious Babas and Sadhus, persons of sports Industry and many politicians too.  The Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) (Union Ministry of AYUSH), which monitors education in alternative Indian systems of medicine has taken a strong stance against misleading advertisements made by alternative medicine such as Unani, Sidda, and Ayurveda. Directives have been issued to AYUSH authorities and state registration boards to ‘crack the whip’ on misleading advertisers. In a circular to all AYUSH heads, CCIM stated ‘by issuing such advertisements, practitioners are misleading the general public by claiming prevention or cure of various diseases such as cancer, diabetes, heart diseases, and infertility, etc., which is a clear violation of Practitioners of Indian Medicines (Standards of Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Codes of Ethics) Regulations, 1982 prescribed by the CCIM.’ Would you like to share this with your colleagues?
