A Worm wriggling inside his Eyeball for three weeks

Something entering our eyes can cause a lot of irritation and pain and for some, it may prove fatal as well.In a shocking and sad incident, a boy from Mexico lived with a worm wriggling inside his eyeball for three long weeks and finally turned blind.

             The doctors at the hospital were frightened to see what was hidden inside the eye and had to remove the eye’s lens to get to the worm.

                   But till the time it was inside, it had caused permanent damage by leaving holes in the retina and iris.It had caused excruciating pain along with problems with sight.

     Doctors suspect that the worm might have entered the body by consuming uncooked food, but the exact reason is not known.
