Air Pollution in capital Delhi and many cities of north India is very much dangerous for lung ,cardiac,eye, skin,allergic diseases.But below are few methods by which we can reduce  its impact  on our body.As the air pollution in Delhi has left everyone gasping for breath, it is essential to take care of our health in such a scenario.

      With the respiratory problem being the most common issue that has flooded all the hospitals with patients, it becomes essential to keep our lungs healthy.Here are a few tips that can be followed to detoxify your lungs and keep them healthy:

Try to stay indoors and avoid morning walks

Try to stay indoors as much as you can. If you have to go out, wear a good quality face mask that can help reduce your risk of inhaling harmful particles in the air.

Also, it advisable to avoid morning walk or any other strenuous outdoor activity that increases breathing rate.

Drink enough water

Enough water intake, at least 8-10 glasses a day is essential to stay well and hydrated. Drinking adequate amount of water helps to flush toxins out from the body, as well as thin the mucus lining your airways and lungs.

Eat a healthy diet

Eating a healthy, balanced diet rich in Vitamin C and E is important to help the body resist infection, including the lungs. Consume a variety of organic foods that are rich in vitamins and nutrients to boost your system strong, including the ones that make up the respiratory tract.

Quit smoking

If you are a smoker, it is essential to quit it immediately especially in this scenario.

Thousands of chemicals in the cigarette smoke can reduce the capacity and efficiency of your lungs, making your respiratory organ weak.
