Many Bolly Wood Films has been produced with renowned actors and actress in India on different medical problems and they have educated our society immensely on these health topics.Recently Rani Mukherjee is back on the celluloid with her latest movie Hichki. In the film, she plays a teacher, who is suffering from a rare disorder called Tourette syndrome.An individual suffering from this disorder is often mocked at in the society because of their actions such as repeatedly blinking the eyes, making a face and blurting out offensive words

         Tourette Syndrome is a nervous system disorder involving repetitive movements or unwanted sounds known as tics. The disorder often starts in childhood, and boys are more prone to this syndrome than girls.One of the main symptoms of Tourette Syndrome is tics. The mild tics are not even noticeable, while the severe one could happen often and hamper everyday life. Stress, excitement, or being sick or tired can make the symptoms worse.

      The exact cause of Tourette Syndrome is unknown. It is a complex disorder which can be caused by genetic or inherited factors. A person is more likely to have this syndrome if there is a family history, as per Mayo Clinic.
Though there is no cure for Tourette Syndrome, people with this disorder can control tics that interfere with everyday activities and functioning. Treatment may include medication or psychological therapies.

         In many such diseases ,education to patient ,family,doctors,nurses  and society is must as how to handle such persons with proper recognition and care as treatment may not bring good results but our handling brings forth many good happenings and let such patients to face the disease with more corage,zeal,enthusiasm and self respect removing enormous anxiety,depression and sucidal tendency.

        Films produce an excellant impact on our society so as medical practitioners we should encourage that more and more persons see such films in theaters so our Bolly Wood stars and producers remain interested to produce such good films.Our Government should make such films "Tax Free".
