CNSW International Social Worker Award, USA
Dr. Sujata Mohan Rajapurkar, Medical Social Worker and Transplant Coordinator, MPUH Nadiad, received the prestigious ‘CNSW (Council of Nephrology Social Workers) International Social Worker Award 2010’ on April 27, 2011 from the National Kidney Foundation, USA.
At the luncheon meeting Ms.Teri Browen, Phd. Past Chair Executive Committee introduced Dr. Mrs. Sujata Rajapurkar to the Social Workers & invitees by giving a power point presentation of Dr. Mrs. Sujata Rajapurkar’s multifaceted work. Professional Education Chair, Ms. Sandra Coorough handed over an impressive plaque to Dr. Mrs. Sujata Rajapurkar. Dr. Sujata Rajapurkar in her acceptance speech thanked National Kidney Foundation and the Executive Committee of Council of Nephrology Social Work for giving the honour to her. She informed that she is accepting it on behalf of Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital’s team for their support. She also expressed her gratitude towards innumerable patients for their faith in her abilities. She expressed that she represents many social workers working in India who are doing an unenviable job in an environment of serious resource crunch however improving quality of life of their patients. She added that the award has given a sense of encouragement, satisfaction & an added responsibility of working towards the betterment of patients suffering from kidney diseases.
