If you thought the humble vinegar was just an ingredient to use in your food, think again. Here is when it comes in very handy...
- Experts say that a vinegar and water rinse works as a great conditioner. Take a tablespoon of vinegar and mix with with a mug of water. Apply this mixture all over your wet hair by massaging it in gently, wait for three minutes and wash with warm water. Vinegar is known to smoothen out hair.
- Stung by an insect? Dab some vinegar on it for instant relief. Alternatively, if you've been badly sunburned, apply vinegar on the affected areas.
- Expert say that drinking a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar mixed in a glass of water improves digestion and your bowel movements.
- Suffer from hiccups regularly? A few drops of vinegar will help.
- The next time you suffer from headaches, take a teaspoon of vinegar, little homey and mix them together in glass of warm water.
- Apple cider vinegar is also known to reduce blood cholesterol levels and lower heart-disease risk. It has pectin, which carries cholesterol out of the body thereby keeping your heart healthy. It is also known to help control blood sugar levels.
