NAMASMARAN AND SOCIAL BOYCOTT: DR SHRINIWAS KASHALIKAR
Student: Sir, people seem to avoid me. What should I do?
Teacher: Why do you think they avoid you?
Student: They don’t actually boycott; but they not contact me on their own, unless there is some important work. They don’t reply my mails. They don’t respond to my telephone calls. They don’t respond to my messages.
Teacher: Have you cheated or harmed any of them?
Student: No Sir. I have not cheated or done any harm to anyone. There has been no quarrel also! There are no issues of conflicts of interests also!
Teacher: Do you keep on talking about NAMASMARAN?
Student: Yes! I do that. But is it wrong?
Teacher: No! But it is enough reason for such informal, indirect or passive boycott, or avoidance. This is probably because of following reasons.
1. You may be appearing condescending, patronizing or authoritative; thereby offending their ego and producing inferiority or guilt complex amongst them!
2. You may be sounding arrogant and snobbish “showing off” or “exhibiting“; your “higher moral or spiritual standing”!
3. They may not be in a position to “share your vision” of the holistic renaissance and hence averse to your obsession (as it may not provide their kind of entertainment or solace)!
4. There may be actually some element of ego and vanity in you that creates repulsion!
5. Or; your feeling may be a delusion! They may actually be; loving you intensely and interested in your activity immensely; but preoccupied and engrossed in their day to day matters and problems.
Student: What should I do?
Teacher: Persist in the practice of NAMASMARAN, listen to your inner voice, which is actually Guru’s voice and follow that. Be loyal and true to your Guru and none else! Ignore the responses of people, which keep changing beyond their will and wish.
In other words, continue your activity as a service to Guru; with no expectation of approvals or accolades; and no fear of disapprovals or dejections!

MODUS OPERANDI OF NAMASMARAN: DR SHRINIWAS JANARDAN KASHALIKAR

MODUS OPERANDI OF NAMASMARAN: DR SHRINIWAS JANARDAN KASHALIKAR
Student: Sir, I wanted to ask you about how to increase NAMASMARAN sitting in one place? Apart from the daily NAMASMARAN, it's bit difficult for me to increase it. While working, walking here and there, I do chant as much as possible but feel; it would be more beneficial if I do more while sitting in one place.
Do you have any suggestions please? Would like to know.
Teacher: Thank you for stimulating me to think about NAMASMARAN from this angle.
As far as I understand, god our Guru; inspires, empowers and enables us to practice NAMASMARAN exactly in a manner appropriate to us. He also inspires and enables us to do activities, appropriate to us, which would promote and spread the practice of and involvement in NAMASMARAN.
As I understand, He likes us to keep anusandhan i.e. focus on NAMA; while we are busy in our day to day activities, SWADHARMA.
I don’t think our Guru has specified any modus operandi, such as sitting in place or any other.
I don’t try to sit in one place and practice NAMASMARAN, except in morning and evening for about five to ten minutes. I do not try anything extra. I am in one place, if I am tired, if I am not well or if I am in Arati etc. I am in one place if it is midnight, if it is too hot or too cold or raining outside.
May be, I am not mature enough or old enough to practice NAMASMARAN by sitting in one place.
But I am sure our Guru does evolve us and gets everything done appropriately through us, at an appropriate time and as per His wish.

THE GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY: DR SHRINIWAS JANARDAN KASHALIKAR
Student: Sir, what are the drawbacks because of which, we remain unsatisfied in personal and social life? What are the difficulties in globalization of NAMASMARAN, which is a panacea?
Teacher: NAMASMARAN; unlike a job or business; does not assure any predictable and measurable material gains. Unlike a cosmetic product it does not embody any sensuous pleasure. Unlike a movie, a TV serial or a novel; it does not gratify passions or emotions in a tangible manner. Unlike a success in examination or a victory in elections; it does not pamper ego.
Student: I see! This is the reason there is no widespread craze of NAMASMARAN!
Teacher: Moreover, since this is not a patented product; no one can get any profit by promoting it!
Student: I see! Due to lack of profit, pleasure or pride; even we, who practice NAMASMARAN, lack the conviction, zeal and fervor to globalize it!
Teacher: Precisely! The terrorists, the militants, the dacoits and even ordinary thieves, scamsters and other miscreants are “dedicated” to their missions! They are far more dashing than we, who we are completely buried in our pettiness; and all the associated drawbacks!
Student: What should we do?
Teacher: Through a consistent and steadfast practice of NAMASMARAN we get empowering and encouraging assurance and guidance from within to further practice and promote NAMASMARAN! This is my experience and this is also why; there are selfless people (far more dedicated and dashing than the miscreants), who grab the the golden opportunity to practice and promote NAMASMARAN!

A STAGE OF A MAJOR REVOLUTION: DR. SHRINIWAS JANARDAN KASHALIKAR
Student: Sir! What is your opinion about the present changes in India?
Teacher: After years of brain storming I identified that my basic passion as well as mission is Individual and Global Blossoming (IGB) or Total Stress Management (TSM). This same may be called SUPERLIVING or Holistic Renaissance. Later it became clear that NAMASMARAN is the way for this. Later still; I realized that maximum practice of NAMASMARAN and all efforts to globalize NAMASMARAN; with top priority; are prerequisite to this.
Student: But what are the initial and redeeming features or signs of such an Individual and Global Blossoming (IGB)?
Teacher: The emergence of selfless and visionary political leadership can be said to be the first concrete and redeeming feature! It appears that this is what is happening in India!
Student: What would be next stage?
Teacher: The next stage would be the emergence of selfless and visionary leadership in every field, so as to support, buttress and empower the selfless and visionary political leadership to evolve policies, plans, programs and their implementation for Individual and Global Blossoming (IGB)!
Student: What is our role?
Teacher: Everyone has different role in terms of details. It would vary according to one’s constitution and circumstances. But; the practice and globalization of NAMASMARAN; with top priority; is the common feature. This is the most essential, crucial and vital infrastructure or foundation for the Individual and Global Blossoming. This is essential for evolving individual freedom into self realization; and democracy into global blossoming; and prevent; the degeneration of individual freedom into petrifying pettiness and democracy into perverted pathocracy (governance at individual and social levels by perversion).

DECEPTION: DR SHRINIWAS JANARDAN KASHALIKAR
Student: Sir, the deception may be in terms of breach of trust and unfulfilled expectations from spouse, family, friends, relatives, leaders, employers, doctors, traders and even governments. It may be associated with physical handicap, pain, loss of money and property or failures in examinations, competitions, elections, tournaments etc.
Teacher: Yes! The common feature of deceptions is; agony, humiliation, pain and misery. However; in spite of this fact; we continue to live and work.
Student: Why? Why do we live and work in spite of such misery? The strange thing is; we keep working not only in spite of deceptions but also in spite of several loyal responses ensuring fulfillment of our expectations! The question is; why?
Teacher: Our innate aspiration is neither defeated by such deceptions nor satisfied by such fulfillment of our expectations! In other words we are neither truly deceived or we are truly satisfied!
The true deception is being away from the innate aspiration of self realization through NAMASMARAN and the true fulfillment is being in NAMASMARAN; irrespective of all the other so called deceptions or fulfillment!
