Dr Nitin Khunteta has special expertise in the surgical treatment of malignant tumors in the head and neck, breast, gastro-intestinal, genito-urinary, lung, mediastinum, skin, muscle & bone tumors. Since 2000, he has been actively managing cancer patients. His multidisciplinary team of specialists includes radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, endocrinologists, radiologists, maxillofacial prosthodontists, as well as plastic and reconstructive surgeons, works together to develop treatment plans for cancer patients that incorporate the latest technology and the most advanced surgical techniques and cancer therapies.
Over the years he has performed more than 4000 cancer surgeries & more than 2000 endoscopies. Dr Nitin has been doing Radical Head & Neck surgeries & free flap reconstruction, Breast conservation Surgeries & reconstruction by mastopexy / flap reconstruction, Radical gastro-intestinal tract surgeries.
Dr Nitin is trained & amongst the few surgical oncologist in India who are doing cancer surgeries for female genital tract which has given the best treatment outcome by one modality of treatment e.g.- Total mesometrial resection for carcinoma cervix, Vulvar field resection & anatomical reconstruction a one stage procedure for carcinoma vulvae.
