In 1994 he became the treasurer of Institution of Homoeopaths Kerala, Kottayam Unit. In 1995 he became the unit secretary of IHK, in 1996 State Council member, in 1997 State Executive Committee member, and in 1998 he became the District Co-ordinator of IHK.
